Connect to Office 365 email, Calendar & Lync 2013 from Ubuntu 14

I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on a laptop. I was wondering how to connect to my Office365 account. Here you go!

Add a “Office Communicator” account.

Leave the rest.

Good Luck!

  1. Hello, did you find out if office 365 (more speficially, word) works fine if installed on a virtual machine in ubuntu14? It seems not be possible with wine. If anyone has tried, is it very slow? I cannot work only with the “wordonline” version, so I am trying to find a solution (sorry for the libreoffice users, but as soon as you are working from old documents with multiple languages and footnotes, LO is not a option)
