Myself, from a god forsaken place called Pudukkottai in Tamilnadu. As DIT promised, they will make every district headquarters covered with 3G within this year. It is in progress. I was getting 380 kbps till today morning. Amazing.. The speed is good from the afternoon…. Hope they will start the service soon with full capability.
the speedtest is not true and iam using bsnl 3g and iam geeting only 30 to 45 kbps. bsnl is the worst 3g network i had ever seen
I want you to get back your word “the speedtest is not true” – because I am not posting false information.
1. BSNL 3G signal is not so stronger as other private operators – you may not get in apartments with lot of closed walls.
2. the singals may drop and reconnect based on the area where you are.
Some times you need to connect and disconnect.
I could understand your agony. find the real reason and search for a solution.
Still, I would say BSNL is the only solution you can rely on if you consider tier 1, 2 and 3 towns.
